Adotado por um casal francês de Bordeaux, Olivier Rousteing voltou às origens para compor uma coleção que mescla traços africanos ao reconhecido design da Cidade Luz. Jaquetas, cardigãs, blazers e trench coats cheios de decorativismos contrastaram com a simplicidade das dunas que compuseram o cenário do desfile.
“Acho que minha visão se tornou mais ampla porque descobri de onde venho. Sou meio etíope, meio somaliano e 100% francês. Tenho orgulho da minha origem e de quem sou hoje, graças aos meus pais”, disse ele, à Vogue, sobre a inspiração do novo compilado.
